What is a good first name for my unborn daughter?

Her middle name is Akemi and her last name is Dixon, but we need something pretty and "that will go" with her middle and last names.

What is a good first name for my unborn daughter?
The best name you could give her is the one YOU pick!
Reply:Alexa, Kim, Katy, Anne, Anna, Leah, I don't know, almost like the rythm of Akemi as a first name. Then you would have more choices of middle names. Using the k sound or the x sound somewhere might be nice.
Reply:I like Jada. Change up the spelling to add a little spice to it

From the term that refers to the southern United States, used by Daniel D. Emmett in his song Dixie in 1859. The term may be derived from French dix "ten", which was printed on ten-dollar bills issued from a New Orleans bank.

How much does it cost to change your first name?

I don't want to change my whole first name, I just want to add something before it. How much does this cost, and does anyone know a real website to get started on?

How much does it cost to change your first name?
You can download the forms you need online, just download them from a credible, updated legal forms database such as http://www.legalformsbank.biz/namechange...

Once you've filled in the forms then follow their filing instructions to properly file the legal name change form. Be prepared to pay the courthouse for the filing fee and the notary for their service. Together it usually ends up being around $70 or more, but it depends on which state your in.
Reply:DO NOT DO IT ON THE INTERNET. Just go to the courthouse, get the paper work to fill out. Depending on what state you live in it could be as expensive as $200, but i think its usually around 100+. Good Luck
Reply:depends on the lawyer.

Are you on a first name basis with your Wireless Representitive?

Do you have an ongoing long term relationship with your sales person. Have you helped bring him or her sales? Do, they come over and bring you cookies and flowers and call you up and sing happy birthday to you? What is your representive like, what would you change abou them?

Are you on a first name basis with your Wireless Representitive?
I dunno...I wish my Wireless Rep would practice better personal hygiene. Thankfully we are not intimate.

What is a middle name that goes with the first name Malakiah?

I cant think of any names that would go with this name. But I love it and really want to use it.

What is a middle name that goes with the first name Malakiah?
Boy or girl? Like the boy name Malachi ( mal-a kie) Malakiah looks like its pronounce mal-a-ki-a which seems more feminine to me.
Reply:I do believe this is a masculine name, as it is similar to the names Malakai/Malachi or Malakhi. My preference, 'Malakai,' is cute, and very masculine. However, if you like Malakiah, I would go with the middle name of Daniel. I'd like to also mention 'Isaac' as a middle name, but I think the ending of the first name and the beginning of 'Isaac' may clash. Also, what about 'Shane' or 'Jacoby?' I hope I assisted you. :)
Reply:When you have that many syllables in the first name, it really is best to keep the second name to only 1 or 2 syllables at most. It just sounds better.

Malakiah Joel

Malakiah Clark

Malakiah Drake

Malakiah Dean

Malakiah Keith (I like this best.)

Malakiah Scott

And so on. I hope you find something you like!
Reply:Is it for a boy or girl? If it's for a boy I like Malakiah James. I think with that name it sounds good with a shorter more simple name.

I like the name, I don't know why people always have to make such rude comments. Didn't your mothers teach you if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all?! I just don't get it.
Reply:With the first name being so bizarre, why not just combine a random series of vowels and consonants to create the middle name, as well? For instance Joklobira or Welsdfjaoid can be created with just a few strokes of the keyboard.
Reply:I don"t no if it's a girl or a boy I had a bird a parrot and thats what I named it. It's alful long name so you need something short for a second name o.k. here goes Girl -Malakiah Anna Boy-Malakiah Aiden sorry thats all i have.
Reply:Just be careful with you're spelling. My neighbor ran into this problem as she spelled it with an H and teachers started pronouncing her son's name like Mariah (with the extra sylable if you know what I mean)

I think Sebastian goes with it though depending on your last name

What is Ronaldiniho the brazillian football players first name?

My brother is a fan and would like to know as he is convinced he does'nt have one!

What is Ronaldiniho the brazillian football players first name?
Ronaldo Assis de Moreira (born 21 March 1980) is a footballer more commonly known as Ronaldinho Ga煤cho, due to his being from the Rio Grande do Sul state of Brazil, or more simply known as Ronaldinho.

His name Ronaldinho, Portuguese for "little Ronaldo", was originally devised as a means of distinguishing between himself and fellow Brazilian football star Ronaldo, with the additional title Ga煤cho being used when the current Ronaldo was also known as Ronaldinho.

Reply:His name is Ronaldo de Assis Moreira. Ronaldinho is only his nick name. And for your info, he was born March 21th, 1980 in Porto Alegre in Brazil.

What is the first name of Dr. Primrose in The Vicar of Wakefield?

This is a book by Oliver Goldsmith. I've searched like crazy and cannot find it. Perhaps he has none referenced.

What is the first name of Dr. Primrose in The Vicar of Wakefield?
oliver goldsmith actually never gave his character a christian name due to the fact that the book is a narrative from his point of view .it is known that oliver golsmith's father was a vicar and supposition would suggest that it was written loosely based on him.

What is the meaning of your first name, what did it derive from, and do you think it suits you?

I really just want the meanings. For example, the name Earl means "Noble Warrior" and is derived from old English. You don't have to tell me your real christian name, I am just curious about its meaning and whether or not you think it suits you. It's a silly question.

What is the meaning of your first name, what did it derive from, and do you think it suits you?
my name means the harvester... I don't know of any harvesting i've been doing but it's an ok name... = )
Reply:My name is derived from Greek meaning "pure". It USED TO apply to me. No one calls me by my first name.
Reply:Lindsay comes from the island of Linden trees %26amp; is of old English origin. I wouldn't really say it fits me, but I don't know what name would. My parents named me after Lindsay Wagner (not because they liked her, they liked the name). They thought they were being "unique" because they'd never met anyone named Lindsay, but now it's very, very popular %26amp; I hear it a lot. Gets mispelled allllll the time.

I think it suits me--i've been pretty victorious in my life
Reply:My name is Gavin, which is celtic for white hawk/ battle hawk (different websites have said different things). Gavin is derived from the middle English name Gawain (as in Sir Gawain of the knights of the round table). I think the name is fairly nonsensical, and doesn't exactly reflect my personality.
Reply:My first name is Francis. It means free in some language. I hate it. I go by Frank. It was my mother's idea. Both my first and last names are girl's names. I've thought about changing both of them, but my mother wouldn't like that. She's 95 and going strong.
Reply:My first name means comforting and consoling and it was the name of a very important and strong woman in my religion. It is an arabic name. I love it and i think it's important and i try to live up to its meaning and i try to be as strong and to have as much faith as the pious woman who had this same name.

What is a good middle name for a baby boy with the first name Draygen?

Or any other good first names that start with "D" they have to be unique, no common names.

What is a good middle name for a baby boy with the first name Draygen?
I think Draygen Alexander sounds good, and also, giving a more 'mainstream' middle name is a good idea in case your child grows up and decides he doesn't like Draygen anymore. Personally, I think it's great. I wanted to give my son the middle name Draco, but my boyfriend said it was stupid.
Reply:How about the similar, but more normal name, of Draydon? Or Draedon (alternate spelling)? Draygen is like dragon, there's no good way to say it.

Is my first name hindering me from employment and career opportunities ?

My legal first name is "Midnight" my middle name is Geayghmeigh-Leigh - pronounced Jamie-Lee . I have been told that this is keeping me from finding jobs . Is it true that most employers who looks at a resume with this name on it will toss the application right in the trash ? I love my name ! I would not change it for anything in the world!

Is my first name hindering me from employment and career opportunities ?
Hi,

that could be true depending on the fields you are looking for work in.

one suggestion is to submit your resume with your initials only - M.G.

at least then you could get your foot in the door, and once they meet you and see how competent and qualified you are they couldn't possibly care about your name, and you can't feel that you were discriminated against because of your name.

Good Luck
Reply:Legally, they are not allowed to just toss your application in the trash can. I would say that your name is probably causing you some problems though. You may want to put your middle initial instead of the whole name (or you can put how it is pronounced like you did here). Good luck to you.
Reply:By law, employers are not allowed to discredit your application because of your name. BUT, with that being said, I really can't say what an employer will do (overlook it or go to the next application).
Reply:There are at least a million theories on why resumes don't get answered, most of them wrong. In the USA, for example, a company must log ALL read resumes, so most get trashed. Some companies don't hire anyone outside of certain sources etc. Always write a concise cover letter, do as much research as possible, use placement %26amp; better yet, temporary agencies. I could give a long string of unusual 1st names that I work with, including Sundown, affect, yes but good, bad, or indifferent? Job searching is hard, hang in there, explore every avenue; if possible work part-time to establish contacts. I would also recommend reading, "How to win friends %26amp; influence people" by Dale Carnegie, big help at interview time, really.
Reply:I like your name also. I guess we will both stay unemployed, or have to take minimum wage job. Real answer is I don't think so because if employer doesn't like your name then let everybody call you Joe when your at work.
Reply:oh boy, if you don't petition for a name change, you will get hosed when it comes to finding a good paying job.
Reply:there are lots of different names around for the past 20 years...............it is not just saints names anymore................I don't think you name disqualifies you.................have someone look at your resume........(pay them!)..and get it fixed up..........
Reply:Everyone has a great point here. My two-cents though, Do you have a nick name? Use it on your resume. Include your legal initials at the end. Only when ask, do you explain what it means. By all means you should be proud of your name. To make it more interesting, find out what your names mean. Makes for great conversation, when in an interview. Be confident when you hand out your resume, expect people to contact you. Don't place any negativity with the opportunity you are focused on getting. I do not think you should change your name at all. Unless you want to. Not for anyone else. However you can simplify it for others.

Reply:I love your name!!....why don't you just use the name leigh and your last name when applying for an application and on your resume`?

Does a three syllable first name sound good with a two syllable last name?
oh no. Report Abuse

Reply:My daughters are Miranda and Gwendalyn Braxton, and I think it-the last name-flows well with their first names.

Julianne Perry flows well also.
Reply:I guess...I mean, my name is like that. But we'd really have to know the names to be a good judge.

Edit:

Yeah, that sounds nice...
Reply:Yes! Julianne Perry sounds lovely. I'm a three-syllable first name with a two-syllable last name, as well. They sound nice.
Reply:Your name sounds lovely with his.

The worse case scenario would be if your name was Sherry or Terri or something else that rhymes with Perry.
Reply:Yes it flows fine. Usually when you are fitting names together you always make the second part one syllable less or more than the first. This is perfect together.
Reply:Julianne Perry is really pretty
Reply:Yes they work
Reply:Sure. it all depends on the names
Reply:yes
Reply:i think it sounds just fine!

Should people start calling me by my middle or first name?

Ever since I was in school (pre K- college) people called me Lois which is my middle name. My real first name is actually Heidemarie. What one do you like better?

Should people start calling me by my middle or first name?
Hi lo...

for a nickname....
Reply:It is hard to start calling someone another name, so let people who called you Lois call you that, and if you meet people, tell them your name is Heidemarie. (But tell them that some people call you by your middle name.)
Reply:Ummmm why don't you just stick w/ Lois, because if you change it now people are going to be like, "hey Lois" and you'll be like, "No. No, it's Heidemarie now"
Reply:i think Lois fits you better..just by looking at your avatar..but your first name is very original and pretty..
Reply:Heidemarie.
Reply:heidemarie!!

Reply:LOL! Your supposed to be called my your first name. That's what the FIRST part is for.Middle name is something your family hsould only call you.
Reply:Heidemarie makes it harder for everyone to pronounce.

go with that one!
Reply:Heidemarie is unqiue and I like it
Reply:lois griffin!!! its so "family" :)

Reply:Your first name is SICK! I would totally go by Heidemarie :) Use your first name.
Reply:i lyk lois more
Reply:heidemarie cuz then u can just hav people call u heidi
Reply:Lois is wayyy better!
Reply:i would either go by lois or marie:D

How do I change my first name on my birth certificate?

I am a junior in high school and I have basically waited till now to do something. On my birth certificate it says Janie and it's supposed to be Jamie. The woman who was typing it or whatever out a N instead of a M. I live in WV, but I was born in TN. How do I go about changing my birth certificate? Everything else like S.S.Card is in Jamie and Driver's License and ACT scores..So could anyone help me?

How do I change my first name on my birth certificate?
I can't say for certain in the U.S., but in most countries I'm aware of it's not possible to change your birth certificate: sorry!

If the mis-spelling is a mistake, then you can potentially have a corrected birth certificate issued. Considering that you've had other government documents issued under your correctly-spelled name, this is a perfectly reasonable option... but again, not knowing the U.S. system, I don't know to whom you would apply.

Another option would be to change your name by deed poll. This isn't actually very difficult (I've done it), but it would require you to agree that your name was what it was mis-spelled as on your birth certificate and then say you've *changed* it, which is less than ideal. Probably not such a good idea.

Overall, I'd say the best plan is to ignore it - you've got other documents to prove your identity, and so you'll probably never or almost never be asked to produce your birth certificate - and not bother. I've never had to produce my birth certificate ever!
Reply:You can't change your actual birth certificate, even when you change your name. If someone changed their name they get a certificate to say that they have- otherwise official documents like your birth certificate can't be changed.

What do you think of the name Kenzie as a first name instead of a nickname?

Honestly, what do you think? Do you think it would be alright to put Kenzie on a birth certificate for a girl and use it has a complete first name? Does the name sound pretty? Do you like the spelling?

What do you think of the name Kenzie as a first name instead of a nickname?
Yea it sounds nice
Reply:Kenzie is really cute but I prefer it as a nickname instead have MacKenzie as the first name
Reply:I think it's cute.

Kenze or Kenzee are also cute ways to spell it.

It's normally short for Mackenzie, which I think sounds just as childish as Kenzie for those who think it's a very childish name.

When she grows up she can be called Kenz, Kens, Ken, Zie...etc
Reply:Yes i think that it will be ok

Very pretty and i would keep that spelling

xx
Reply:No. I think that it would be a cute nickname though. Maybe if her first name was McKenzie.
Reply:Yes, I think it would be perfectly ok to put Kenzie on a birth certificate. If that is her name and you are going to call her that go right ahead.
Reply:It's a cute name, but I can't imagine her being like 40 with the name Kenzie. That's the only problem with it. I kinda feel the same way about Makenzie too though, so I guess it's personal preference.
Reply:i like the name Mckenzie better....but kenzie does sound cute....one of my friends would tell me to call her that for fun....and i knew a boy name kenzie in elementary.

How do you pronounce the first-name Bregje?

You can't. It's a Dutch name and an American can't pronounce it. Just not going to happen.

edit: Okay I'll give it a try. The "g" is the biggest obstacle as usual.

"Bre" as in "Bred"

"g" as in.. well that's the problem, isn't it? Back of the throat, but softly, not like a cough. Ggggh. Maybe an emphatic "h" would work better.

"je" as in "yuh" (very softly)

I knew a girl with this name...

How do you pronounce the first-name Bregje?
like Bre-hey?
Reply:its said anthony
Reply:bay-j

I think...i hope it helps!
Reply:I think if you have to ask how to say it, you shouldn't use it for your child. You will constantly have to spell it for people or pronounce it at school and doctor's visits and such.
Reply:Seems to me it should sound like Breg-yeh, I think?
Reply:Good question. No clue.
Reply:its pronounced Bregje

How does one go about legally changing their childs first name in the state of michigan?

My child has gone by the preferred name for 9 years, her entire life, but have never bothered to legally change the name. Most searches i made, make the process sound pretty complicated and is more relevant to last name changes.

How does one go about legally changing their childs first name in the state of michigan?
In my state all you have to do is contact the court clerk and fill out the paperwork to petition the court to grant the name change. The paperwork and the actual court date is the longest part.

Whats a good middle name for a girl with the first name of Ireland?

I dont really think a middle name goes with Ireland, i think Ireland is a strong enough name to be on its own. If you realy need a middle name i would jus go with something short and simple like Jay or sumthin

How do you get your name (at least the first name) officially changed?

It depends on where you live. In Kentucky, I had to file a petition with the Circuit Court Clerk's office. I paid a fee, was given a date to go before a judge, and he granted the name change. The form was simple, and the fee was less than $20 at the time.

Make a few phone calls to your local court system. Someone there will be able to point you in the right direction.

How do you get your name (at least the first name) officially changed?
go to the social security center. It only took thirty minutes with standing in line and all. Then they will mail you your new social security card.
Reply:Go to the social security office and fill out a form to change it, get a new social security card.

My husbands family has a tradition that all sons first names start with an R, middle name with E, any ideas?

I am having twins, one boy and one girl and I would like names that kinda go together. His family has no restrictions for female names. Any help would be appreciated because I am totally stuck. Names that are already taken by other family members-Ryan, Randy, Riley, Richard, Robert. I kinda like Reese but family members think it's for girls!

My husbands family has a tradition that all sons first names start with an R, middle name with E, any ideas?
I looked up the popularity of Reese on behindthename.com and Reese is #150 for girls and #458 for boys.

For your little girl, check out nymbler.com and type in your "inspiration" name ...Reed/Reese :) and it will generate several dozen names with the same "style" and "Feel" as that one -way cool site Perfect for Picking twins' name or just siblings in general. From the author of Baby Name Wizard.

GL and congratulations! We are so happy for you both!

Oh- and I'm Jennifer- I just realized I'm on Scott's account lol!
Reply:My husband's family has a very similar tradition. He and his 3 brothers all have names starting with an R, and they all have the same middle name (Allen) which their father and grandfather had as well. They are Robert, Randal, Richard and Raymond.

Perhaps Raymond (since that has not been used yet in your family), or Russel? Raphael and Rourke are the only others that come to mind without looking it up.

As for E names, I love Elliot. Others to consider are Elijah, Evan, Everette, and Edward.

I hope you find the perfect name, and congratulations on the twins! What a double blessing.
