It's a running thing in my family that the first girl is either named Alice, or it's her middle name. I don't really like it as a first name, so I'm trying to find a name that would flow well with it. If you can give any ideas, it would be appreciated.
What first name would compliment the middle name Alice?
Ashley, Brittany, Brianna, Clara, Gracie ...wow, there are lots.
Pleas, just make sure with A as a middle initial that the initials don't spell out anything bad... like BAD or CAW or SAD
*** People*** Really, Mary, nowadays, why don't you just raise her in the convent!
Reply:I personally don't like the name Alice, I prefer Alyce (ah-lees). It's more attractive, modern, feminine, more "today".

Reply:Juanita. Amy. (This would be a good one when you're annoyed at her: "Amy Alice, get your a*s over here!!" Lots of A's in that one, don't you think?) Susan. Ruth. Genevieve. Catherine. Julie. Leslie.
That's enough for now, but if you need more, let me know.

Reply:I would have to agree with the other people Mary Alice is waaay cute! :)
Reply:I think a two-sylable name would be good,ie, Justine Alice (as opposed to Jane,a one sylable name), or Caroline Alice, Jaime Alice, or would the family go for Allison, and that would be the "long version" of Alice?

Reply:Alice doesn't really work well as a middle name! Why don't you name the child Alice 'something' and call them by the middle name that why when you need to yell the first and last name it won't sound wrong.
