Is it just me or does anyone else find this disrespectful? What ever your political viewpoint, he is a US Senator. Shouldn't he be referred to as Senator McCain?

he does it to seem more personable or whatever but ya its strange. ppl torture themselves by running for office it seems. not that that has anything to do with it.
Reply:I agree with Betsy. They're both Senators - they work together. They know one another rather well. They also shook hands after the debate.
Just because they're rivals and have differing views, doesn't mean they can't be friendly with one another.
