Does First Name difference in passport make any difference for Visa application?
yes it can be rejected, names should match

is the picture in the passport you?
Reply:Your name must match. You should have your passport corrected if it is wrong and they should fix it within 24 hours for making such a horrible mistake. They never should've issued a passport with a misspelling in the first place.
Reply:it could - check with the canadian authorities and if it is a problem, you may need to get the passport amended or replaced.
Reply:Your international name is what ever is written in your passport, no changes.
