My name is Tracy but the tickets have the spelling "Tracey"
I am paniking that they wont let me fly
The airline i'm flying with said they ok with it but can't guarantee airport will..
Any help???? Has this happened to anyone before
ps I'm flying to USA
Does it matter if first name on tickets is slightly different than on Passport?
I woun't freak. As long as you have valid ID that shows you are you you are, you are not responsible for idiotic mistakes of others. Just be sure to check in early as we have to now, just incase. That way, if there is any problem, you have time to resolve it.
And, if the airline did make a mistake and it caused you to miss something important, document the name of the person you talked to at the airline who said it would be okay and the date and time. That way, if you miss something important, you can sue the crap out of them! Because you notified them of the problem ahead of time and they didn't fix it.
Reply:Up to 5 letters difference is allowed
Reply:You should be ok with that one. They are making sure the ticket-holder is the same person for security. Nice safe western name they won't worry about either.
it is still the same name, sounds the same.
I would relax.
